New Features available for Shed and Bolt

With a rapidly increasing number of growers using FarmReady's apps as an integrated add-on to Agworld, we also get more feedback from this group of customers as to what they'd like us to work on. Because we want to make the user experience of our apps as good as possible, we constantly work to implement this feedback and make improvements. Over the past couple of months we've made a variety of changes, which I've listed below so that you know exactly what has changed and now offers you improved functionality.

As always, if you have any questions, please reach out to your Agworld Customer Success representative or you can send us a message via our website - farmready.io

Shed

We have introduced a significant enhancement to the Shed <-> Agworld integration by implementing Farm Defaults for storage rules. This new feature allows you to set default storage locations for each farm and product category, such as chemicals, fertiliser, seed, and fuel, eliminating the need for manual tagging. For example, all seed usage from planting activities can now be automatically allocated to a designated seed storage. Users can configure storage allocations based on unified storage, product category, farm location, or a combination of the two providing flexibility to match various inventory management practices. Existing storage tags have been renamed to "Tag Overrides" and can still be used in conjunction with Farm Defaults, giving you the control you need.

We have also streamlined the process of recording new receipts into Shed by automatically carrying over the pack size and cost from the previous receipt, when you add the same product again. This new process reduces the need for entering the same data over and over again. If adjustments are necessary, you can easily modify the price and these changes will be remembered for future entries of the same product. This update to Shed requires no setup and is available to all Shed customers, simplifying inventory management and saving you time.

New Features available for Shed and Bolt
Bolt

We have introduced a machinery valuation feature in Bolt, enabling users to track purchase dates, purchase prices, and current market values for each machine in their fleet. This information is accessible to all logged-in users via the machine's home page, any associated job, or through the Machines report in CSV format, facilitating informed decisions regarding asset management and financial planning.

Bolt now allows users to record meter readings during refuelling, streamlining the process of tracking machine usage and fuel consumption. These readings can be exported via the Refuel Log report, giving you a complete overview of operational data. We have also added the capability to Bolt to export machine inspection records as PDFs through the "Machine Inspection Logbook" report, which includes detailed information about the machine, employee conducting the inspection, date, and completed checklist items.
